Tools to Inspire the Next Generation

Thursday, December 13, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
At The Works Museum's Design Lab in Bloomington (address at right)

  • Curious about the next generation of engineers?
  • Interested in volunteering your time to teach engineering to children?
  • Did you know there is a local non-profit focused on exposing elementary school children to engineering?
  • Did you know that Minnesota now requires engineering education for all children, starting in kindergarten?

Join us for an entertaining and educational conversation about The Works Museum, Minnesota engineering standards, and how you can partner with MnSPE and The Works to inspire the next generation of engineers. Leave the session with ideas, tools, and know-how needed to make a difference, whether by giving a classroom presentation, volunteering at an engineering outreach event or at The Works itself.

This will be an interactive, hands-on session exclusively for MnSPE members.

Registration Deadline: Monday, December 10, 2012
All registrations after 12/10 or walk-in registrations will incur a $10 late fee.
A minimum of 15 registrations is required to hold this event.

Registration Options: Click on "Register Today" at the right to sign up.
